What phone do you guys use

hi everyone.

 

my nokia N96 ( great phone ) has just belly up on me

 

vodaphone, being the caring sharing co. they are don't want to know

 

" very sorry sir, its water damage, not covered"

 

swapping to orange at the end of the contract. ( june )

 

between now n then looking to buy a phone.

 

the N96 was a good phone and couldn't fault it, apart from its ability to soak water out of my ear. lol

 

what do u guys use and what would yuo recomend

I wouldnt buy an expensive phone mate, You'll get it free in june on a contract, Id just use any in the mean time, You or someone you know must have a spare phone kicking about?

Nokia N70, may be an old (ish) phone, but its not let me down, and the picture quality is pretty good.

Iphone, its the only way. Apps galore, GPS, Maps, Weather, Just get a good cover and there is even a perfect iphone shaped pocket on the stretch air trousers!!!!!!

or just buy a cheap pay as you go one with credit and give your mates some joke calls till the credit runs out and swap sim cards.

my blackberry 8310 curve scroll ball packed up on me so gotta put it in for repair, in the mean time using my old sony ericson k850i and love it still

Dave, i am amazed you like the N96, i HATE mine with a vengeance, and when i have time i am going to replace it (i am due an upgrade), but what for????

 

The only phone i really like are nokia, and other than samsung apparently have the least reliability issues (other than the N96lol). The best phone i ever had was the N95 8gb. Reliable, sat nav, awesome camera and strong reception. Unfortunately you cant get one, but i am assuerd that the N86 is the dogs danglies by various shops and my service provider (o2) who are dropping nearly all the n series nokias other than that one, and the closest thing to the n95 8gig. It feels pretty solid too.

 

Having said that i am going to look at the N97 and N900, cos i am a total sucker for gadgets on phones.

get a business contract if you can im on orange and the service is good

the phone is insured for most things and you get it posted out straight away.

carelly lift out the metal surround and the ball, clean it and replace, just dont drop the ball!!

do they do a good cover to stop the dust gettin into the vitals???

and can you swap sims easily if on the same network????
