If I had to move, I'd choose Nantes on the Loire but I've also worked West of Paris where the soft rolling chalk hills remind me of the home counties and the money therein.

Anyway. Used to be good money in LA works ( Street n Parks trees) 

Used to be good money in Highways contracts.

Used to be good money in Residential customers ( Pikeys scotched that) 

So no real answer.   Basically  dont start up a tree surgery company. 

Forestry showing more promise.  But nieche market big kit. 

 

Pick an area and tailor to yr customers if any.  K
