We run Kutotas which aren't perfect but seem to perform most of the time. Our latest one we got a couple of months ago is the G23 Diesel with a 48" deck. Most of these type of mowers seem to be about 10ft long. Etesia Hydro's we've had and moved away from. Great collectors in the wet, although there are others just as good now. Too many electrical and niggly faults. A caravan park we did work for had theirs go on fire with the above fault. I was assessing a guy earlier today who was running one of the big Etesias and his heart is broke with it - and he's an owner driver. Buyer beware and make sure you have a good dealer to whip if faults do develop!

I was thinking about Kubota's the other night, there are 1 or 2 on E-bay.

What are they like for collecting long wet grass though ?

I have to get this right as there is only enough cash for one shot at this, and these machines that dont pick up that well are a waste of coin.

might be worth looking at the amazone profihopper. depends on your job tho on large areas we dont lift it we just mulch it and cut it regular.

better to try a machine on YOUR sites before you buy make sure it dose as you want it to

I really like the look of these machines, are they as useful as the adverts say ?

i got a secondhand one at the end of last season so only done maybe 20hours on it as far. i like it. it dose leave skid marks if your not carefull. hills can be a problem to but it dose leave a nice striped finnish and is great when the grass has been let get too long. youd be better to get a demo of course as there always a expencive machine to buy without testing :001_smile:
