Old style black bail sheets as cover plastic...

Used to use this as cover on veg garden plots to stop weeds the when plot wasn't in use/fallow but then the rats ate holes in it when it was in storage one summer.

 

It lasted many years until the rats got at it. Still have few small  sheets and no UV degradation...

 

Meant a load less  job weeding as killed area of grass/weeds ready for planting veg and it also warmed soil i reckon.

 

 

Anying that would as be good  as replacment?

 

New bail wrap isn' the same type. Have had some woven weed membrane stuff  since that wasn't as durable and is expensive.
