Horse tail weed Control

Burn it! I like to go for something a little less harsh on the old environment myself. I usually use a mix of high concentrate vinegar/salt sprayed onto the weeds or I burn them with a weed burner. Obviously the other quick method is just use a strimmer to knock them off. 

 

Mares tale will take you years of spraying to properly knock back. Same as JKW. You basically have to dig it out in total to get rid of it. Even if you do spray it year in and year out, it moves location just when you think you have got rid of it.

Was thinking of something like salt plenty of it so soaks down as hopefully not something it can deal with!

Can't dig it out though as don't think the Residents would like it!
