Is that Monteverde?

This is a bit of a beasty epiphyte i saw on a recent vet tree survey. The general thought was that it may be increasing the rate of decline of the oak or holding it together!!!!!

Anyway another one for the photo bank!

I knew I had some old photos somewhere. I have lost a lot of my old photos or they have been damaged by humidity. These are a couple I found of an orchid survey in 2002. We climbed and rigged a temporary platform for an orchid expert. I think he identified 50 species in this one tree. Unfortunately these are my only photos that survived. I would love to find the bromeliad photos with frogs inside.

Was that in this country Gibbon. I do orchid counts but i would never think of looking in or on trees.
