so looking at all those posts my level hi-lux load at £75 is cheap, though i did only pay £25/ton for the wood (ash, oak and horn beam) but i had to haul it out of the wood my self, it's felled by some students on various courses, i then cut and split back at the farm.

should i try putting my prices up?????

you should be thinking about utilising your students, a firewood processing course, for just £25 per day........ draw the cash whilst they cut an split!!! loverly jubberly!!!!!! :biggrin:

A tonne of timber will just about fill your pick up. which leaves £50 for fuel wear and tear and two hrs of your time. If your happy with that its enough if not put it up. I would creep it up because if demand out strips your supply u will be paying £60 a tonne like everyone else.
