plumbers?

We rent,
had a plumber (an old boy) sent round to do the seal on the bath.
Took him nearly six hours.
Me and my mate were having to restrain our mirth when he said ooooh it's a big job.
Thought he was fleecing the landlady, but he's also their family friend...
Turns out he's a freakin genius!
He took the whole bath out,
Levelled it, beaded and raised into position, fixed the small crack, beaded the bath immaculately,the glass door/shower thing doesn't swing around anymore, and when you get in it's solid.
Then we realised he'd fixed the toilet cistern system as well.
Old school quality.
Humbling.

Yes and your todays plumber would of just gone over the old silicone sealant, took an hour and charged about £70-80, i know several plumbers and there is only one of them who i would employ and he his old school but he knows his stuff and will not cut any corners or bodge owt every thing he does is A1,

Er... yep.
Been done at least twice by
"the builder". Fifteen minute wipe n go.
