Solid nose bar vs sprocket nose bar

I recently purchased a makita ea7900 with a 24 inch bar for the occasional trees my husky 560xp 18 inch  can’t handle.

I run a mixture of husky and stihl and all my previous saws have a sprocket on the bar. Is there any major disadvantages (if any) with the solid nose compared with the sprocket.

Thanks

The solid nosed Stihl Duromatic bar was very durable but used a lot more power than the sprocket nosed equivalent if that's any help.

I thought it would last longer and did think about it losing more power but then thought I was being silly.

Is the power loss really noticeable compared to the sprocket nose then?
