Hi,

New to the Forum. I have decided on a stand on Commercial Mower to take care of our place here for several reasons. My question is does anyone know if Great Dane mower parts are readily available or not. I've seen the pretty cheap second hand but I am worried about parts and servicing. I've looked at the Scags, Wrights and Ferris but quite hard to come by at 48 inch that I am after.

Many thanks,

You never thought about toro? Supposed to be a good product and easy to get parts for apparently

Thanks for the info. Yea I take your point regarding sitting down but I have water and a lot of drainage ditches here and I don't want to be strapped into something and end up in a ditch. At least I have a chance of jumping off. I don't plan on putting it in a ditch of course.

If ya riding on a machine, wouldnt you want the comfort of being sat down. Similar to the "zero turn" mowers most councils use.

I've never used a stand on mower, but I imagine it would be pretty comfortable. Supposed to be better for your back than sitting down I think?

I see the local council going about now with stand on mowers.
