Ahha, I just found the coolant sender unit on the side of the thermostat area, unplugged it and the gauge read nothing. Started it up and fan still came on. Must be the sender unit hey? Will get another a put it on and see tomorrow. Sound right yeah?

hi,just wondering if your antifreeze is at the right strength or not. if not has it froze and poped a core plug out or done the head gasket as ive seen this happen on a v8 with same symptoms as you.

The antifreeze's fine and waters still wet. I think it's that sender thing. Mates

taking me to get one first thing. I really shouldn't get excited about such silly things but can't wait till the morning now tee hee!
