Timberwolf chipper

Got a little timberwolf 18/100 with Kohler trad 18 on it, ran it yesterday for a job today got on site started it gave it a little rev's to warm up and it just cut out. Now seams to have no compression any idea what it could be.

When you say it seems to have no compression, what has brought you to thinking that? Is it a pull start?

Electric start and It turns over very easily compared to normaly.

Have rang someone I use and off the top of there head said it could be 3 things 1 being cheap and 3 expensive.

Turns out oil pump has thrown belt and oil pump no longer available so new engine needed. 

I am good at mechanic's and fabrication so was thinking has anyone fit diesel engine.

someone is bound to have a pump for it  new or second hand...have you a serial number for it and google it

That's what I'm thinking but it's still at repair shop and I'm picking it up tomorrow. 

So will try and get part number of them and have a look for one.

As Jase said I would definitely try Matt, he has an Aladdin’s cave of Kohler parts and helped me out a few times when others couldn’t ?
