What do you use to store logs by the fire?

Looking good ... I nearly did similar with the log store on the outside but I was going to use old weathered railway sleepers either side of the brickwork at the front to creat the "sticky out" bits with a lintel going across the top of them and the front of the fireplace and a shelf running from front to back down each side.

 

Post some pics when you're done with fire fitted and log store full .... I'm sure it'll look amazing!!

Thankyou yeah will post pics when done but it won't be for a long time unfortunately as I'm still at the building stage of my renovation.
