Jansen is excellent ‘ze German quality’ branding on Chinese imports. Same product ranges as Lumag in the UK.  I particularly like their smiling Germans in overalls on their website. Possibly they assemble a few bits on site in order to claim ‘manufactured in Germany’.

If they were built in Germany then MicroPelle would sue the pants off them for trademark infringement I reckon.

@Dave Alviti- how come you stopped importing the micro bull?

It was for the most part a good product, if anything it performed too well for the strength of the machine/track base, we wanted changes to be made and were having to sort a lot of things off our own back without much in the way of support from the manufacturer - and at our own expense . They were not the easiest firm to deal with in terms of communication etc. coupled with the change in customs procedures (brexit etc) all added up to the point where we decided to cut our loses and move on. pity really as the access width made it a really good little unit, we've still got a good stock of parts and a lot of the engine bits are off the shelf so are still supporting the 20 or so units we sold. Still got a selection of attachments in stock if anyone is after a hedgecutter or blade!
