Just wondering guys what are your thoughts on having a dedicated carpentry and joinery section,I know we have a woodcraft section but all the posts on woodworking are just one big list,Seems since a lot of the lads are trade guys as well as tree surgeon/groundies so might be nice to have,Been quite a lot of postings recently on things being made so be good to have sub sections to.Just a thought as i am on various forums and if it sounds like a good idea we can ask steve ???  ?:hello:?

Yes, I was hoping to see more on the horselogging and hedgelaying sections in particular. I don't have much to do with either currently, maybe there are more people like me than I suspected.

I don’t mind making subsections off they are used but more often than not they aren’t. I was actually considering whittling down some of the current ones

I am on various satellite and woodworking forums and moderate on a couple and seems to work well,Joinery and carpentry are a very popular subject with the lads on here,And others i must add.

I think it could be very useful.

I’ve had some good advice over the years on here.

Mind you, my idea of a finer, more technical joinery project is one where I use 4” nails.
