I bought some gravity boots a couple of months ago but havent figured what to hang from yet. Going to try a barbell threaded through two steel rings screwed into a beam:001_huh: I bought them to help stretch out.

gravtry boots are good for decompressing the back. hang on them for 5 to 10 mins a day and you spine will be healthy and muscles will get goos stretch.

Everyone must stretch and strength train to stay mobile and strong...esp if you do tree work!

I wonder if it is a good or bad idea to hang upside down first thing in a morning? I'm thinking it might be good to kickstart circulation but it might not be so good to load/unload the spine just after waking[/quote

best way to start day is light 10 minute stretch. i have gravity boots..and used to use them often..helped spine a lot...to hell with doing it just out of kip.

Just fitted one of those bars in my bedroom door frame. I've had one in previous houses and they work pretty well but they can leave marks in the wood and I was wondering if there is anything better out there. I've seen an advert somewhere with one that just hooks on the wall above the door frame and stays up simply by levering into the wall as body weight is applied. I've also have some gravity boots so I can hang upside down and do inverted situps - just did a few earlier and they are killers!

power bar! awesome bit of kit for 25 quid, got one a while ago. just hooks on to the door frame and leaves no marks. look at it on you tube. :001_smile:
