Rigging course (CS41) South West England

Recommended Posts

Highly recommend Terry Banyard based in Wimborne in Dorset. Recently done my CS41 and went way past just what needed to be taught to pass. Looked at loads of different rigging techniques, from double blocking to using the rig ‘n’ wrench.
He did a very good srt tutorial on Y.T that I enjoyed, really knows his stuff.

Hi everyone.

I'm looking for a rigging course in the south west, or southern half of England. I am based in Somerset.

I have done courses in the past where one is taught enough to pass the assessment, and I have not really felt like I could go out and actually perform the things I have just been trained to do with any real confidence. I would love to hear if anyone has been on a really comprehensive, thorough rigging course, that went above and beyond what is required for the assessment.

It's such an important part of modern arboriculture, I want to get the best foundation of knowledge I can, from people that are skilled and experienced.

I'm prepared to travel for the right trainer

Roland Hemming is spot on and very modern well equipped set up and always goes that extra mile,Roland & Martin are top blokes and there training methods are modern and do it in a way which settles you and makes it easy,on site  B&B and you can walk to the trianing woods.just perfect.

I’m doing a rigging course with Roland Heming in February, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my arborists courses. The instructors are very professional and teach you more than is needed to pass.
