What do you mean secondary friction device? On a main line?

No not on a main line. On a long lanyard. I use a 5m one with the zillion. Usually daisy chained up but there if needed as a secondary short climbing line.

ART positioner, with swivel. Excellent, simple, and easy to clean resin off (I use meths - to clean it, not drink).

Very, very occasionally in awkward manoevres/positions I have know it catch on other clobber on the harness bridge, or a rope, and allow itself to run some rope through due to the angle being pushed by the item it contacted. Never been bad enough for a change of underwear though.

I’ve got an ART positioner but preferred the Trango Cinch as I found it didn’t get hooked up and accidentally opened on your bridge or similar PLUS you could convert the cinch to a single line by choking the end around a limb onto the strop itself (onto a small sliding prussik) and you could still descend under full weight by using the optional flip out mini lever which I couldn’t do with the ART as smoothly .
Unfortunately the Cinch has been replaced by the Vergo which whilst similar, doesn’t look quite as compact . Luckily I still have the Cinch........but this isn’t going to help you !!!
Perhaps the latest ART positioner is betterer ? ??‍♂️

Art positioner pays for itself time and time again. So reliable, cams are so cheap and easy to replace when that day finally comes and it's so consistent. Every now and then I toy with hitches again but it just makes me appreciate the positioner more. I'd definitely advise paying the extra for the swivel. There's no point saving yourself a tenner and not getting it with a product that lasts so bloody long
