Felling license

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I've been asked to cut some silver birch that has self seeded in a field. The trees are fairly large so I'd assume you still need to apply for license even though they are self seeded??

Also why is it so difficult to apply for a license on the owners behalf... Finding it hard to get owners to apply for one

Yes unless one of the exemptions apply.

I frequently acted as agent for owners and made the licence application on their behalf
