Has anyone here updated the Sat Nav using the DVD in their Navara?

If so, can you point me in the right direction on where to get the up-to-date DVD. Thanks

(63 plate Tekna)

I have a 65 plate Tekna and I bought a TomTom with a sim card that updates from the wifi coz I did not know you could update the one in the truck  !

Not 100% sure on this so dont quote me, but i was on the thinking that you had to code the cd to the head unit before download could commence, making it a dealer only scenario!?
Like i say, not 100% sure though.

That's why I got the top of the range Tom Tom . It updates with everything including speed cameras , road works etc etc from my wifi at home .

Does it integrate/show on your screen in the dash or have you got a seperate tomtom screen mounted?

Separate Ratty .  Although I expect some cleaver person would know how to do that ... I am used to ,  and like , the Tom Tom format and prefer it to the in built one . Just what I am used to mate .

Sat Nav works but a few of the newer roads etc not on it.

That's why I have the Tom Tom with the sim card that updates from the wifi for life for free . That " few " will eventually become lots .
