i want an art rope guide please :)

i wish i could splice, i would probably go for this .......

That is really nice do you know who did the splicing? The retrieval bit looks a bit cack though, i.d cinch it to the legs of the prussik run the cord through some surgical tubing to keep it firm and help keep it away from the pulley looks tidier this way.

 

Also i.ve found having the retrieval shackle attached directly to the prussik/adjuster improves retrieving it by helping you in manipulating/assiting the pulley through the eye/ring, over having it say on the end of the rope in a spliced eye as shown in another custom guide pictured here.

I think its rich kenyons from melbourne....

 

I may have to try that method of attaching the retrival line as i'm curious if the the pulley for some reason gets jammed on the spliced eye/ring wether a harder tug will tend the prussik giving more slack and helping retrieval??

Theres the RG Primus, which I believe is their cream of the crop Cambium saver. Does not look that much more functional than a standard one though.

 

thats the one i was on about lol , i was looking at it and thinking that you could change the rope strop and if you wanted make it so that the RG would go roung bigger timber:confused1:
