ART cambium saver

getting the ART cambium saver for crimbo!! was wondering can it be installed from the ground with a throw line?

I think it can and I remember looking at a post with pics on here demonstrating how! Think its a pain in the arse though.

Really not worth the effort. It requires 2 throwlines or something silly like that. Srt or footlock up then install it, much quicker/easier.

it is installable from the ground but it isnt retrieveable, its not to hrd to do you can find the way to do it in a rigging manual when people have installed blocks and slings from the ground. cant remember exactly what book it is in but i saw it a while ago and it would work with a art, like rupe said get a art rig or get footlocking and go set it yourself. by the time you have set up your rope guide from the ground you could have set up srt rig and be at the top doing it yourself.

Alternativly keep your ringed saver for installing from the ground, a ropeguide opens up more placement oppertunities when high in the canopy, its rare that you can set the ideal anchor from the ground anyway so like others have said its not worth the extra hassle installing the rg when your going to move it higher anyway, so keep the ringed saver is doubled rope is your prefered access.

SRT is well worth getting into the fact you don't need to isolate a limb can make accessing the tree so much easier and quicker.

if u have keen eyesite you can install it from the ground with a bit of skill without resortong to a second throwline through the big ring, you need to use a slim throwbag which narrows at the end or mod one with some tape. but it really is much quicker to srt up there as allready mentioned above

ill find the book i saw it in pete and send u the details but it is possible, never bothered my self its just easier to srt and u dont have to paralell lines.
