i couldnt really make out what you did at the end with your rope, did you just stick it on the tail end and pull it around the top limb to save a bit of climbing??

 

Yes, nothing more to it than that. Its only impressive if done from one side of the canopy to the other through/over many limbs, saving a massive re climb.

i thought thats what it was, i have only ever done it around the trunk or on shorter routes. i would usually just lengthen the prussik right out first, stick the throwbag on the tail and whip it around the branch/trunk and pull it back in. But as you say, if it gets snagged it can be a bit tricky :blushing::thumbup1:
