Is the cylinder defo knackered? You can get pistons ok but cylinders look scarce.

I would check that it is only aluminum transfer  from the piston . Sometimes they are salvageable . Ask Spud the best way to remove it . @spudulike

Mechanic hasn’t phoned so I think that means cylinder knackered

Dont write it off too easily, things can look worse than they actually are. Try using some muriatic acid (swimming pool cleaner) to clean bore. Or i’ve used acetone previously also.
Trying to use use a cylinder honing tool will be hard and prob not feasible due to the 2 stroke cylinder designs. Spudulike will prob be able to advise a little more tho. [emoji106]

Wipe some brick acid on the transfer and leave it till it fizzes then rinse it and do it again then get round it with some 240 grit wet and dry lubricated with WD40. Check it for deep gouges after.

Turns out cylinder can be cleaned up.

where can I buy piston?
