Iveco 35c12 low ground clearance

Glad I'm not the only one who's lost a tank of diesel then ... god that was a hassle. Thankfully the aa took the van and chipper in.one go.

The front suspension is height adjustable if this might help. I've just replaced the front spring on my 35c15 as it was sat really low on the front. Turns out it was so low as the rubber mounts it sits on were knackered. What is your wheel arch clearance like?

I lost a tank of diesel few years ago in one of these, I lost a months worth of pay rise to pay for the tank, looks like it wasn’t really my fault!

I had a 35c and can’t say we ever had a problem . It did have 5+3 springs on the back which must have helped . 

Do the Iveco 65 wheels fit which might help with height as the certainly look bigger ?

Should I go for the heavy duty front spring at the same time?

I'll fit heavy duty gas shocks too and change all the rubber mounts.

Any other parts I should look at whilst this is being done?

Anyone having this problem , call paddington springs in wembley, the will stick extra leafs in while you wait . they are very reasonable.

That’s the very same Ty , worked a treat , just got the new model one so may have to change to these again too , however may look into helper springs although Wembley a bit far for us

O.K, ordered the 5.5t springs over the other choice of coil helper springs.

Now to replace the shocks.

Where to look for heavy duty shocks?

 Any leads?
