any one no anything about this chipper??

looking for a chipper at the moment just bein browsing flee-bay and found this just round the corner, its in my price range,and on my door step, just never herd of them?? but for a chipper to start out with what you think?

I may be wrong But I think it should say Entec Which is an early Timberwolf

They are a good Machine if looked after

 

That one is not the best looking one I have seen but may be fine that call is up to you when you see it

Yes, its either an early entec (now timberwolf) or its an ex hire machine. The ones for hire come direct form entec instead of through the timberwolf dealership so they remained yellow (and called entec) after the same model had changed to orange timberwolf.

 

Its hard to tell from the pics if its a newer hire machine but the respray might be trying to cover up that fact.

its had a new engine @ some time the key starts should be on the red side plate not the engine & the batterys in the wrong place that sould be under the hopper ,i know these things i had 1, for 6yrs

so woodpicker is it a good machine then?? would you guys say it is worth the £ he is asking for? if i go have a look what sort of things should i be looking for and aware of? thanks shane

Ive use one of those Entecs in the past was a cracking little machine, Was nice and straight forward to work if any thing did go wrong but that hardly ever happend, Could be a good buy if in decent condition

Find out when the bearings were last replaced, take the shute off and look feel if there is any damage to the fins!

 

Look at the condition of,

the engine - smoke ect,

Axel,

Tyres,

Hitch,

It doesnt look to have a HSE bar fitted so factor in the added cost of that if you want one fitted!

 

If you go and look at it, ring timberwolf up and give them the serial number they will have a record of owners if it has been up dated?

Does it have a HSE bar fitted?

 

ok thanksi am new to buying into chippers cars and vans i am fine with, what are the fins? and also what is an hse bar
