Also an old account for the same site that new site has replaced is still active, no one has access to that account. It never came up on the map the first time I looked to see if there was already an account for the site.

Your new listing hasn’t been approved yet which is why it doesn’t show.

 

please link me to the void listing so I can remove it

Hi Steve.

I set myself up as a tip site last week but I am not showing up as a pin on the map.

Is there anything else I need to do?

You need to filter through all of the tip sites listed as I maybe find 1 successful tip site from around 10 phone calls I make. And we are now made to pay for this service yet it is much less reliable than when it was free

What would be really useful is if people report sites that are no longer accepting so they can be removed. 

 

Nothing has actually changed in the function of the directory since the charge was introduced. The only thing that has changed is the age and therefore the age of some of the listings. Unfortunately some of the sites either close, move, or whatever and the owner can't be bothered to remove or update their listing. Which takes me back to the first point, when such profiles are reported they are promptly removed.

Ok thanks Steve, I will report as I go because I’ve found over the last few months it’s quite hard to find a tip site or atleast much harder than it used to be!

I do periodically send out an email to all directory listings reminding them to update their listing. Haven't done one for a little while though so i'll do that now.

I made a mistake on the first one....then another on the second, so be thankful you didn't receive a 3rd 😁
