Which one?[emoji846]

I'll probably  not as they are now terribly tatty, that one was the one that has been looked after for the last few (is it 5) years by [mention=30499]farmer rod[/mention]

Get em posted, OSM tatty or not tatty, thats what its all about, last tractor we had before we left farm was a DB996 and up until a few yrs ago when dad got ill we still had a MFTE20 1952 yr i think it was, all original apart from seat that i had to weld as it rotted in the centre outwards, i played “chase the worm” with it, looking back i should of plated over it with a circular piece, but hey ho! ?‍♂️ there is a thread for arb tractors, post em on there [emoji106] kinda took this thread sideways.... sorry guys, my fault [emoji119]

I will very likely order one shortly. I had one of it's predecessors when I had the sawmill. Very fast and powerful saws, and they give away nothing to their Stihl and Husqvarna counterparts, yet they are £350 cheaper.
The 79cc is the one Jonathan . Same weight more punch. Like a 440 vs 460

The 7300/7301 is more of a like-for-like rival for the 462 though.

The 7901/7900 is a great saw and is, or at least was, best in its class for power-weight. But it doesn't fall into the £500-£600 price range, being roughly £100 dearer than the 73cc version.

Was damn tempted with that ebay Makita 7900, so started to do some research and the first thing I found was this Recall on that model, meaning that before I should use it, I would have to contact Makita, get replacement parts sent out etc, thats even if they would deal with me, on a used saw with no proof of purchase

I bought a used one. They did the recall no bother didn't even ask. Bit of a fanny on but got sorted eventually. Tbh the part they changed seemed totally fine before anyway. But the new price from radmore isn't that much dearer is it?

Hope you get it. I waited 2 months and still had no delivery date, that was from world of power, then tried somewhere else but they never returned my calls.  Much happier with a 365 xtorq from Bill, although I was about to head to Jones for a new one until Bill offered a used one.  Dolmakita is a good saw, but if it ever needs attention and spares.....I feel I dodged a bullet.
