If people CHOOSE to be busy fools that's up to them. We had a new kitchen fitted a few weeks back, had to wait weeks to get the right bloke to do it, price to fit £1600, one bloke for 4 1/2 days.

But.. most members are not kitchen fitters.  brickies..  rocket scientists.. or city traders for that matter.. Different markets have different rates.. We all want to be able to charge more..

What do you do Eggs? I begrudge labourers I know that get paid £20-30 a day more than me for standing around smoking tabs on a building site. Equally I've been in some really shit work environments in the past and tree work so far has only been positive, we all know there are easier ways of making better money; but is it worth the stress? I wonder sometimes why there are so many older, late starting, guys in Arb - could it be the twilight profession when your sick of shit jobs?!

This is one of the reasons prices are so low.... People with money from another life set up and do tree work as a lifestyle job.. Not many folk leave well paid work to become plumbers.. An even more extreme example would be mountain leaders.. They will be on even lower rates then tree people..
