i had a close shave today with a tree tag, i was glad it never damaged the chain as i missed it by a whiskers, but when i had a look at the cross section i was a little surprised at what i saw. i never tagged these trees but i know they have been in for approx 2 and a half years

It that galvanised ??? I've notice the galv that they put on nail doesn't last very long as it use too. My mate put up some fencing and by the next day they were rusty.
