From what i have been told there are no plans on bringing it into the country for sale through the dealer network.

Is your source reliable?

Not having a go, just is a bit strange knowing how keen the new anti vibe laws are here, i thought the UK market would have been a sure bet for it if its better trigger time than the 361.

That asside, even if it does come to the UK, i think it will be another year or two before we see it.

Only going by what my local dealer has said to me.

I guess they need to get rid of all the 361's that are in store at the mo!

Saws like the 361 have a full throttle trigger time of about 4 hours anyway, when properly sharpened and maintained.

Thats an immense amount of time.

Even if someone was repeatedly feeding you logs to cut, take out the time off the trigger, rest breaks, refuelling etc. and you would never get near the maximum exposure level in a standard working day.

Yeh, possibly so in surgery Nige, but i would say its also an excellent forestry felling saw.

Not sure if anyone else thinks Stihl have gone a bit erattic the last few years but they seem to have superseeded some saws in a range and not others, and then update the more modern saw again:confused1:
