Historically, they have been quite tricky to do (apparently) so always had sweep in to do it. We met him when we moved here about 10 years ago, he’s a cracking bloke, been friends ever since and it’s always nice to see him. It’s one of those jobs I guess, could do it meself but time / cost / social element means it’s easier to ask Mark to come round. I’ve had all the chimneys lined since so it’s probably easier now and something I should get around to doing myself. On balance though, he’s got all the gear, got the knowledge and experience, it’s quick, clean and usually quite sociable if he’s not flat out for the next job.
