I've murdered a few Yorkie bars, not sure if I've ever eaten a prostitute though.

I have.

I came across a piece of diced carrot but manfully ploughed on.

Then I encountered a pea, and began to feel queasy.

It was finding a lump of chewed ham that finished me.

"I think I'm going to be sick!"

She said "That's what the last bloke said....".

Hi Peter

What is the rear axle weight on your truck?

Looking at a 18e24 3 way tipper, with a view to putting a hiab on the back. Plan is to get a big a hiab as I can without going over the top.

Is it the chassis rails that need to be extended to sit the hiab on?

Cheers

Al

11500.

You may need to extend the chassis, depending on how much overhang there is. The crane needs about 500mm, but then you need another 400-500 mm between the crane and the rear tyres.

If there is enough overhang you may be better off shortening the body. The crane actually sits on the subframe, but that needs to be supported by chassis rails, and then there are usually drop plates on the sides that hold it all together.

Excellent stuff. Thanks Peter.
