Stevie, beign up a hill is a hobby. Spend all your free time doing that and the rest of the world can chase its own tail as much as it likes.

i never thought of that rupe, i love sitting up the hill looking down on the town, everyone bustling about, then i can lie back and look at the sky and watch clouds and planes and listen to the sound of nothing, i have my outdoor bag, i think i will look it out today, it is a row deer bag with a kelly kettle, axe, flint, small harp, bit of rope and a big bar of kendle mint. I love just disapearing and going starting a wee fire and sitting under my canopy, havent done it in ages. Nice one rupe, i do have a hobby:thumbup:

I had a bit of a poor start today, things whirring around in my head to the point the Jo-Beau wouldnt start. I pulled and pulled, got annoyed, pulled some more, got more annoyed. Went for a smoke. Sat down had a coffee. Went back and turned on the machine and lo and behold it started  Switched off my stupid brain and had a good days work. Some days its hard to get going, take 5 and a deep breath, and crack on:001_smile:

We need, writers, thinkers, analysts, philosophers and all manner of other talents in this world, not just grafters. In fact if we were all grafters the world woud be in a right state, somebody has to stay behind and get others things organised.

Encouragement should be for everybody whatever their strengths. APart from lazy teenagers of course, get them splitting wood I say!!

This made me think of a phrase that I always used to quote after interviewing teenagers who would tell me they ultimately wanted to be Accountants, Lawyers, Architects etc etc ....... `Whos going to dig the ditches`
