MAN 8.136 ex danish army lorry. 7.5ton, 4x4

 

 

Basically a very similair spec to a mog1300L, but a little simpler.

 

Problem is anything other than a mog will be hard to get registered as ag, then you are in to a whole different world..

i did have a mog up till this year, you wont find anything to match if you get one that is ag spec. For fencing they are perfect, post knocker up front, 3 guys in the cab, plenty of kit on the back body and tow a trailer to the job aswell. I have this 4x4 merc truck, it is excellent, it has a mog 200hp engine in it and has diff lock and low box, i wouldnt fancy going to off road in it, but it has plenty of clearance and you can stick mog tyres on it too. It has a side tip, hiab and also has a rear pto. It also has a 5 ton winch up front.

I wouldnt even consider an MJ to follow a tractor unless you change it around somewhat- in my experience they are awful off road with bar grips or the knobbly tyres (sorry- not sure how else to describe them) even if you deflate the bargrips they are pretty awful, and the equivalent Daf is only marginally better....

A 130 and trailer can and will carry a hell of a load, in the region of 4 tonne gross which is better than a disco and trailer. Why not another tractor, such as a fendt or fastrac with high road speeds.
