I've watched loads of these sorts of vids over the years, mostly to pour scorn on some of the crackpot idea's people come up with..  aliens did it with lazers that sort of thing..  but the ones I like are the ones showing how it could be done with the simple tools that were to hand..

 

Apparently, the kings of the big movers were the Romans, able to move objects up to two hundred tons.

I liked the thinking behind this man's theory but apparently it has been dismissed
