airstream boots

hi there ive just bought some meindl airstream rock boots for my upcoming course at kingswood. i just looked at the manadatory ppe list and noticed the boots have to be EN 17249 where as the airstreams are EN 20345. whats the different in this?

I must admit i think i have the same pair, very happy with them, but i also noticed they don't seem to have a chainsaw mark stamped on them.

 

I thought all chainsaw boots/ppe had to have a chainsaw logo stamped on them?

Otherwise most comfy and waterproof cutting boots i've ever had
