Hi, I'm looking at getting my first harness and unsure what to buy. I'm a big lad weighing approx 20stone and 6ft 5. Does anyone know of any large sized harness's which are any good?

Thanks

Staffy

bloody hell! I think your best bet is to make one yourself out of some webbing straps!

From my experience i believe the weaver is the most likely to go to your size if you give me your waist size I'll check tomorrow, if you live London/Kent you can try them on at our place.

The only problem with Weaver harnesses is that your customers might think you've got some bondage fetish or something:fisheye: buckles and leather straps everywhere!

Petzl do Harness's in two sizes, the large size goes from 34" to 54". You can get them with or without shoulder straps, seats or leg loops, plenty to choose from.

Have alook at there new SEQUOIA (see pic below)

I have a large size 'weaver' with sliding Ds (a must).

It is very comfortable.

I hate those sliding Ds. Just when your about to do a cut the whole f*ckin harness decides to slip across to the other side. The Petzl harnesses are much better - lightweight, comfortable and basically a more modern design.

I've never experienced that, ever. And I stopped wearing 4 dee saddles in the 70's.

I loves me some floating dee.
