V belt

Does anybody know the size of a V belt for a Carlton 4012 stump grinder, my machine has a Kubota engine it.  I don’t want to go to Orange plant as they completely take the piss With their pricing. Also can you recommend where I can buy the belts from please.

Hi buddy I’m near Bolton and there is no visible numbers on the belts. The belt is on the left hand side as you look at it from the rear I think they call them via belts.

Sorry I know a good belt and bearing place but it is in Central Scotland.

I have a Wessex flail mower and I took in the old belts and they matched them up, worked a treat and at a fraction of the cost.

V belts should have the code on them . That way you cant go wrong .

I buy all my belts and bearings from simply bearings an online company with next day delivery and best price,as for the belt just measure the circumference and width you should then be able to match it.

Take it to the local belt people and they will measure it if the numbers have gone.
