Very busy August - October, quiet Nov., picking up slowly again now. Have a good stock of 2yr. seasoned hard and softwood so not unduly concerned.

Loads more competition this year, lots of ''dry logs'' type adverts with a mobile number.:001_rolleyes:

The free ad papers are full of them up here, mainly benefit claiments I think :sneaky2:

Ive stopped selling them . I now give them away or usually do a bit of bartering . One guy owns a cheese factory another has a chicken farm so do quite well off these guys . Get lots of fruit & veg depending whats on offer from a few small holders . :thumbup: I think why sell logs when I can do tree work and make more dollars . This is just my take on the firwood thing plus it keeps the yard clear . I only ever sold 30 tons max but never really did push it .

Hope it gets cold soon as ive just discovered a decent HI CAP,so as soon as i shift my 30 ton of fire wood the sooner i can upgrade to the landy(wheres michael fish) when you need him,you could bank on a russian style winter when he heald the rains.
