I have a 254XP I use for cutting fallen trees for my wood burning stove.

 

Silly Question what is the best chain for me please? the chain that was in the machine when I bought it wore out and I have been buying Sharp chains but they seem to dull to quickly

Thank you for the replies, sorry if I gave the wrong impression I do keep it out of soil ect and do have them sharpened But like I said the orginal chain lasted quite a while between sharpening, unfortunately I do not remember the make, it came with the saw

if you are paying to have the chains sharpened most of the places that sharpen chains round this way never take the rakers down , dont know if this is the problem
