Splitter advice.

I'm in the same boat. Looking for a new splitter,  similar budget. Like the look of the Venom but seems too good to be true on the price?

It seems a good bit of kit, didn't come across anything that it wouldn't split. But then I don't have much to compare it to.

That Mel looks a good bit of kit, good speed and an even better price! Anybody got experience with them? Looks very simular to the rock machinery one minus table but I'm sure that could be knocked up easily enough.

What did you go for in the end? Still keen to get any feedback as I'm still undecided myself.

I've literally just ordered a Rock Machinery V series 22t splitter. Same as the one I used before but uses a 'jd' engine and has no built in table but £500 cheaper! Figured I could knock a table up myself...

 

Now to get plenty of timber in and get splitting! Want to get 50 cube stored and seasoned ready for next winter.

Would be very keen to know how you get on with it. Did it have a table as an option?

The table comes with their other 22t venom machine but it was £1800. I’ll report back but I was more than happy with thr 22t venom I used so hoping mine isn’t much different.

I’ve been looking at the jansen log splitters come with a 4 way knife, horizontal and vertical positions plus a kohler engine for £1200 delivered
