Husqvarna 390 exhaust muffler bolts

The 2 bolts holding the exhaust muffler to the engine keep rattling lose despite using Loctite . Any suggestions & ideas ,as its becoming a real pain .

The bolts are HT M5 20 mm long ,am I correct believing they are 0.8 thread, I can by a pack of 10 for less money than the above link

Standard Loctite generally releases when heated, so won't work on anything hot.  Perhaps try using some shakeproof washers instead.  Or if you can get them in there, use something like the Stihl screws with the serrated heads, they will bite into the exhaust and stop them coming loose.

And that is....bearing lock D'oh:001_rolleyes: Use Loctite 270 - that will stick em in for life but de-grease first for maximum grip!
