Stinky exotic timber?

a mate of mine has positively identified the timber...

 

Chukrasia tabularis

 

i can't give it a common name as there isn't really one for the UK seeing as it's not one we ever get over here other than with pallets like this bit did.

 

he did refer to it as chickrassy though.

 

there you go mick, i didn't think that one would ever get solved...
