Oh just to add when we removed the old springs you could bend them quite easily by hand, the new ones wouldn’t budge!

Dont you mean just the one spring?

Is yours a spring and cable with rollers or just a spring up to the top roller?

Cheers.

mines the spring and cable. Didnt realise the springs need changine at certain hours. My jensen been to the moon and back so mighr be a good idea to change the spring and get a right cable lol

also where do you get your spares from / the parts? Cheers

Ours is a a528t so has 2 springs, yes its crazy to think they wear but when you consider the amount of use and hammer they take!

http://www.dennisbarnfield.co.uk/ we get spares from here, ask for Richard he deals in Jensen for them.

Any chance of a picture if you get chance at some point?

The 528 was before the 530, wonder why they went down to one spring and or spring and wire

While all the Jensen guys are together how do you adjust the throttle? My revs have dropped on full throttle and I can't work it out , sorry for the de rail

From memory I think mine has a cable to the top of the fuel pump with a spring and a adjusting rod, we have that many bits of kit though so let me check tomorrow and come back to you.
