Mine's a 2009 model with a single spring with a couple of adjuster nuts top and bottom I had to remove the whole unit and put some heat on it to free up the nuts!!!

Also WesD I take it the £180 was for parts only ?

Yes parts only mate, not hard to change over though.

The throttle cable sort of works back to front in that when you push the lever forwards the cable tightens therefore compressing the spring taking the revs off. When you pull the lever the cable slackens therefore the spring extends pushing the rod with is connected to the pump giving you more revs. As far as I can see there is not much room for adjustment other than replacing the spring or shortening the cable.
