Its great, with nearly 60 horses its the fastest 6" chipper out there. The TP doesn't pull stuff in quite as well as the Forst but chipping close to max diameter is a joy as it just eats it... Forst now make an 8" PTO machine that would be superb on an alpine, but I can't really justify getting shot of a perfectly good chipper just to be able to chip very slightly faster...

Posted this before on an old thread, big log shed. If I remember right, each bay holds about 20 cubic metres.

Photo is from last year, it's now half full of logs, with more sat waiting to be split and put away ¬¬

Cheers, yes the wee one would be about 9cube, which is okay for an average house, with more than one source of heating.

 

 

I liked the colour of the box profile sheeting, they had it on offer and in stock as it was a cancelled order. It's called 'slate blue' which sounded a bit garish, but came out good in the end B|
