No true beauty without decay (the dead tree thread)

So, it's time we celebrated the ephemeral beauty of a dead/dying tree.

 

Lots of dead/dying mature chestnuts here, nobody's going to deadwood or monolith them so they stand, bleached ghosts.

 

I think they look great, here's one near Ruffec I snapped on the way to price a job.

 

Let's see yours, no coronet cuts, no man made monoliths, untouched by human hand only.
