My mate has just made a trailer like that with a 7" chipper running off a series one with rear PTO and a 2 litre montego perkins turbo diesel engine. Much more power than the chipper originally had.:001_smile:

 

The Perkins Prima! Oh joy! Actually, if AR had intercooled it, most of its problems would have disappeared... i.e. intercool it!

Ill pick your brains on that one later mate, on behalf of my mate......well into a bottle of red now after a week off the alchohol so now aint the time!:blushing::thumbup1:

A customer of mine mounted a GreenMech 220 in the bed of a road/rail 110. Interesting conversion which nobody likes to drive. If I can find the pictures I'll post them. It's not something that I'd recommend as a conversion and a suspended PTO driven machine would fair better.

I mate of mine was toying with that idea., using a bearcat with a rotary table(not the road rail bit). Did it not make the hopper really high?
