Hi

Want to replace spark plug cable on Stihl 075.

How to remove the cable from the ignition module.

Tried to just pull it as I can't see in screws holding it but it would not come out.

My second question is if I have managed to remove it can I replace it with any other spark plug cable or they are specific.

It may be the type of HT lead that is molded into the coil . Some are , some arent . Have you tried re insulating the the bare bit ?

Thanks for help, it was screwed in type. Managed to get it out, now need to find replacement. Insulation may work but it is likely to break at some point.

Yep for sure . Just a thought to keep you going untill you get a new lenghth of HT lead . Any motor factors I would have thought .

I'd use the thinner chainsaw HT cable which is usually 5mm.
